The free Muhtadi drumming festival features performers from Africa and beyond.

 

…Toronto’s inaugural Luminato Festival of Arts and Creativity offers 10 days of daring, dazzling and dizzying entertainment and what’s more, more than half of the events are free.

One of the festival’s three defining pillars, alongside diversity and collaboration, is accessibility, said CEO Janice Price.

“It’s one of the things that attracted me to this festival was this commitment to accessibility, access to the programs,” Price said.
